IMPORTANT NOTICE: JOPARI ATTACHMENT PROCESSING CHANGE
Important Update From Jopari: Attachment Processing Timelines
Effective September 1, 2026
Partner,
We want to make sure you have advance notice of a processing change taking effect September 1, 2026, involving bills submitted with supporting attachments that ultimately route onto Data Dimensions.
Today, when a bill is submitted with an attachment, Data Dimensions, a clearinghouse partner, holds it for up to 30 days while it works to load and match the attachment to the bill. Starting September 1, that hold window is shortening to five business days. This is a change Data Dimensions has implemented on their end, effective September 1st regardless of our preference. If a matching attachment is not loaded and processed within that window, the bill will be rejected back to Jopari rather than forwarded to the payer without the corresponding attachment.
Why this matters: A rejection keeps the transaction visible so Jopari can quickly verify transmission activity, confirm supporting documentation, and assist with reprocessing before downstream issues occur.
If you receive a rejection tied to a missing attachment after September 1, 2026
Reach out to support@jopari.com with the applicable bill or claim number.
We will review our transmission logs to confirm what was sent and when.
We will work directly with you to reprocess the bill as quickly as possible.
On our end, we are adding daily monitoring of unacknowledged attachment files so we catch issues well within the new window, and we are moving ahead with an additional system change to reduce attachment file sizes, which has been the leading cause of processing failures at Data Dimensions. Our goal is for this transition to be seamless for you and your clients.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
